Default Govenor

Oops!, Anyone got a diagram on how the governor should be inserted on a 91 EZ-GO? I took the big nut off to see if there is a bushing in it.the shaft has a lot of side to side play. but the shaft fell in the rear end.Yes there is a Bronze bushing in the nut. I'll get started on taking it apart.

Once I get the shaft out should I just plug the hole and go without it? I'm not looking for any more speed out of it?
