Thank you, nobuckbuild... Yes, today I found:
In the spark test (see McDave71 msgs):
with Battery connected, key on, foot pedal pressed, starter/generator running, after ~5 attempts spark test I actually saw a spark!...
My thinking is, maybe I just need 2 new spark plugs !?...
Trying that tomorrow...Thanks to all, JosephBus1

Thanks all for your help...New Spark Plugs did not produce spark, so I'm back to the Ignition coil ( earlier msg was that did not get an impedance reading for the secondary coil )...EZGO says the coil costs is ~ $128 + Tx + Shipping...Does anybody have a better price, or is that about the going rate for a 97 gas TXT medalist EZGO coil?...Thanks again, Joseph

You might find a better price after market ,but I have found they don't normally last as long as oem parts, your car, it's up to you what your willing to spend.

Thanks RvKersh,
I just ran into "AW" smith, www.GolfCartRentals.com, price coil + Ship $72, if I buy direct, instead of thru Amazon ( who takes 20% !!). AW will warranty the coil, accepts returns if doesn't solve problem...Joseph

Here's what I got ( + 2 months later! )...
Recall Starter/Generator (SG) brushes replaced...no spark...

IGN coil (IC) replaced... coil terminals not labelled but assumed same polarity as old...still no spark...

Batt terminals & wires on front panel ( ignitor ?) cleaned & tightened...

Batt Gnd (-) cable is a little frayed but still intact / small resistence to metal...

IC test: with key on, VOM terminals between BATT (+) & LHS IC input terminal , crank engine gives about 12V...

Does this just verify that wiring from BATT (+) to IC input is OK?...Anyway, the SG cranks but no go...
Appreciate Ideas or is this the time to punt?

Dont give up yet. It could be something simple or something hard but once you find the right thing that is wrong you will be glad you didnt give up.
