Pretty thin. I don't have one to measure, but I'd bet it's .6mm - .7mm. No specs. With that kind of "thin-ness" it's not real critical. What are you trying to calculate? Compression? Are you shaving the cylinder or head?

I have a better idea. Just replace the G1 top end with the Enticer 250 top end. I just happen to have one, freshly bored with new piston and rings.....if you are interested. The Enticer head won't really give you much power by itself, been there done that. The Enticer cylinder ports are considerably larger, lots more rpm and power. You can read my thread....

It actually worked out really well and was pretty fast. The only issue I had was towing my mower in the summer heat....it didn't like that at all. But I really didn't ever get the carb tuned right, really needed a cv type carb, something vacuum operated. I ended up removing it and installing a clone. It's not as fast on the top end, but has more low end power.

If you need any help with this just let me know. Glad to help.

slo is correct. Since you have already shaved the head, the single best mod for that motor is to install a 30mm VM-series round slide carb. Here's a video of my old G1. This is a butterfly style, but a round slide carb is much easier to tune.

That's usually the best way to learn. It means you won't forget it.
