I now have a unifilter... 2 1/2" inlet... angled. I had to alter the fender well to give it clearance due to the 5" lift. I haven't rejetted yet. I may do a Mikuni 30mm carb later. Right now, it's running real nice.

Re: Best battery for gas gas cart
Here is the final installation of my battery. I removed some foam on the inside of the wall, then ground down the top edge of the battery where the handle is usually attached. Fits like a charm! Not mod of air filter needed.

Re: Best battery for gas gas cart
Hey Pachanga, I went to Advance Auto Parts following up on your tip about the cheap batteries. 42.99 for any battery they had that was a refurb. There were about 20 of them there. I didn't get the Marine Deep Cycle since it was too big, but I got the next biggest. But for under $50 I can't really go wrong. Thanks for the heads up!

Re: Best battery for gas gas cart
Cool!Unless you have a lot of extras on the cart,a standard cranking-battery will last for years.Ours sit, untouched 4-5mos of the year in a cold, unheated garage, and they are fine.Philly...If you get it lifted and want to play,Look me up!If you have ever heard about the trails and Moto-track in Hilton/Hamlin that's my backyard!!!Right around the corner from Jacobies' Sled-Drags.

Re: Best battery for gas gas cart
Stick with a car battery, yes it will work, but they dont like the constant starting a golf cart experiences as good as a car battery.
