Robin 295 rebuilt and now doesnt run right
The history, the motor was bone dry on oil and it locked up so I contacted a person on ebay that rebuilt these motors, a week after he received the motor he was diagnosed with cancer, the guy rebuilt the motor sent it back and then completely closed down his business. Now the motor will turn over and idle very rough, I have taken it to two local mechanics and they cant figure out the problem. What has been done: replaced the whole fuel system, carb, lines, and pump. replaced the electrical system, checked the timing, adjusted the valves to .004, exhaust is fine. After all of these things it still will not run right. It will not build up enough rpms to move the cart. I know/assume the next step is to break down the motor but before I do I was hoping maybe someone here could help. If you have any questions please ask thanks for your time

Has a compression test been done on the motor? Does it feel like a skip in the motor or just low on power?

yeah the compression was good but the motor just has no power, it barely gets above idle speed.
