Battery cable question
When doing routine maintenance on my batteries cleaning them and spraying terminal protectant on them. I noticed that one of the cables the insulation is pulled back away from the connector. Is there anything I should wrap this cable in to keep it from being exposed. It is pulled back about 1/4 to 1/2 an inch. I wasn't sure if the 36 volt would create too much heat and I would be better leaving it alone. I plan on going with a new set of heavier cables in the future. I just want to know the best way to take care of it for the time being. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Re: Battery cable question
You could slide an inch of shrink tubing over it. Better than electrical tape anyday.
