Default Voltage Reducer

Is there a recommended 48v to 12v reducer, or are they all fine ??

I have used this one on a few carts. Only has 4 wires so its always powered up. Controls my lights and USB plugs.

Was just looking at same things, led street legal kit, no stereo. My current (pun) one died and it was a cheapo.

Something quality if there is such a thing…. Next thing you know I will want 48v lights and get rid off the darn thing

I did notice some of the $$ ones listed “isolated” in the description??

Where on the cart do you install these? Also, do you use a fuse block with it and where do you mount that?

This is what I installed when converting to Lithium:

https://www.amazon.com/dkplnt-Conver...s%2C186&sr=8-5

It is 20A which should be plenty for head/break lights.

So far, it has not given me any problems (~6-months).

Mine is like the others shown from ebay or amazon. It is only 10 amps for lights only.

I installed it 4-1/2 years ago and it is still going strong.
