New Drive Belt question
I have a 2005 G22. I put a new drive belt on, and have noticed there are spots on the belt that there are threads hanging from the side of the belt.
Is this normal when a new belt is installed? Or is there an adjustment i need to make? Thanks |

Re: New Drive Belt question
I would not worry about it unless the belt is coming apart. That assumes you don't have holes in the clutches tearing the belt up or something like that. Most belts are sticky for a little bit then wear in. The only adjustment is to make sure the clutches are clean and lubed, they work poorly when they get dirty/sticky and you lose power.
