yami not sending power to the starter
I have a yamaha g1 I believe, The serial number is on the passenger side rear bumper and starts with J31 so I believe that means its at least a 1984. Anyway this cart was given to me because a man drove it into his garage and the next day wouldn't do anything. I have traced wires and can't find anything wrong with it. solenoids are however not sending power to the starter. what wire is it that sends the signal to let power go through? Any help would be so much help thanks!

Re: yami not sending power to the starter
Go to the stickys ontop of this forum and you can look up a wiring diagram for it. http://yamahagolfcar.com/partsandservice/default.aspx You will want to test fuses and the switch on the gas pedal. I am not that familiar with the g1.
