Welcome Mike!!!
I am a proud owner of a 2007 XRT 550 Lynx gasser!!! Have you received the recall about the steering boxes on the 07 models??? No No No Ez-Go sent it to me last night... I had to go out at 11:00p.m. with a flashlight to check My gear box #'s I think I'm in the clear... Ser# LX0706-.... gear box # 6c23c would you have any more info then what the Club Car website has??? that's twice there was a recall on the steering boxes on the Lynx... 03 and 04... and now the 07 models...I'm concerned! No No No Ez-Go has been a great help on finding this info, QUICK for me! and I'm curious if you have anymore "In depth" info I would need! Thanks in advance! |

Re: ClubCar XRT and 294, 295 4x4 performance
YOUR OK recal only pertains to 7c06-7c22. metals inside the box werent heat treated properly and causes them to wear out premeturely. doesnt always happen but just to be safe they have us yank them all out and replace them. SOON AS CC catches wind of 2 or more cars in a series at any given place they do the right thing and bring them all in for checking. IE precedent computers under version 1.6 and early controllers. so be happy that they do a recall....... EZ-GO has had major problems with Gears inside there steering rack breaking for the past 4years and they still wont admit fault. i do some work for CC so if u ever have any warrenty questions or recall questions or just (WTF why did they do it like this question,) feel free to ask. hope this helps

Re: ClubCar XRT and 294, 295 4x4 performance
Hey Mike,
I have a 2006 Carryall 294 SE with the Honda 620. Do you have any suggestions for how I can increase the speed. The system seems to be governed down pretty low for that Honda 620. I don't want to do any work inside the engine. Also, when I first put it into forward it takes roughly 4 secs with the RPMs increased for the clutch to engage which tends to lurk the cart forward. I've found that I can press the gas pedal for a couple seconds to rev the engine and that will usually get it to engage. Have you or anyone else encountered this before or have any ideas what is wrong with it...or is that just how it's supposed to be? Thanks Justin |
