Spark question
I got this 1995 series cart that all is working now. I stuck three 12 volt batteries in it to test everthing being I didn't want to buy 6- 6 volts just yet. I had to extend the cables but that was not problem.
Yesterday I went to close up my shop and decided I would remove the negative side of pack cable. It fell down and hit the frame of the cart and it sparked. Anyone know what caused this ? |

Re: Spark question
Probably residual voltage transferring from the battery case to the frame. I assume small sparks?
Take your volt meter and place black lead on pack negative, then probe around the battery cases and frame. You may get a surprise lol. I could be wrong! It may be something else, but this is my guess. A bicarb wash might help. |

Anyway I will take a look at it today when I do get to work. Late today Not a sparky person but I bought this cart three years ago for a project and just getting around to getting it going. The metal body has many dents in it and I plan on installing the body off a 2007 on it soon. Then buy some batteries and sell it or just sell it like it is and let someone else do the work. |
