Default Club Car LIMITER, VOLTAGE, POST MNT - Part: 103470902

part#103470902,is this a voltage reducer?it only has two black wires,one has a ring terminal for 3/8" stud.other wire has split crimp (two wires to one) with female spade type insulated.any info or schematic?thanks

It's a low amp rectifier type voltage regulator. Usually something like 16 to 12v for use with a factory lighting system that only draws from two batteries, but can also be used when voltage variations are excessive.
Most of the time the answer for those is to chuck it in the scrap pile and use a 48 to 12 reducer that draws from the entire pack.

Agreed. I never really understood why Club Car did that. Unbalanced the pack & killed off battery packs before their time.

Cheap is why. Plus how much do the lights really get used on a course cart or maintenance cart?
