91 ezgo curtis controller
i have replaced the microswitch on the pot assm. and the contactor. But now the cart runs good but after running a while it slows down. I have checked the voltage under load and it drops about 2 volts. I think it may be the controller getting hot. any suggestions???

Re: 91 ezgo curtis controller
most cases when a controller gets hot it shuts down not just slows the cart.......have you tested all the cells with a hydrometer? if not you might want to....when it slows down have you grabbed each battery cable to see if one is getting hotter than the others?........................

Re: 91 ezgo curtis controller
I agree with shadowman mine did the same thing only it took 2 minutes for mine to get hot .I replaced a controller and boom no more problems. diagnostic on my controller box it read the same way it was dropping voltage... the first 1 to 2 minutes it was full voltage after that a dropdown 33,32 volts... I hope this helps good luck.
