!!!HELP!!!Carb settings!
OK got the cart running pretty good but, The screw on the carb that has the jam nut on it. WHATS THE BASE SETTING of this screw? I keep reading that these carbs are non adjustable but this screw has been messed with by somebody before i bought the cart. the reason im asking is this is how i got the cart to move on its own, it was set at 2 turns out i have it set at 1 out and it seems to be alot better but stll slow and easy to flood out .so could i lean it out a little more or is this to lean? any help is greatly appreciated!!

Re: !!!HELP!!!Carb settings!
Turn it in some more- it won't hurt the engine to adjust this low speed mixture screw. You will be able to tell when it is set too lean. Just don't tighten the screw in any farther after it stops- you can damage the tip/sealing surface.

Re: !!!HELP!!!Carb settings!
realistically the low-speed mix shouldn't affect things *much* but Kyeric is right, you can't screw anything up by messing with it

Re: !!!HELP!!!Carb settings!
Well no luck now back to not moving on its on and flooding or bogging down, the previous owner told me smthn is up with the carb...so guess ill be saving up to get a carburetor! I know the guy well and he has no reason to lie. Can't an OEM so guess ill be looking at around the $100 dollar range, any recommendations? Or ones not to buy? Hope this is the problem.

Re: !!!HELP!!!Carb settings!
You may want to pull off the fuel pump and be sure it isn't leaking fuel into the crankcase. A crack in the fuel pump diaphragm will cause flooding.
