So a piece of flat steel welded to a 5/16 bolt. Easy nuff. Yes mounts are shot, I just use the cart for around the camp ground, can only go 5mph but I do transport water with the cart, a 35 gallon jug to fill the water tank in my camper.

I installed the new motor mounts yesterday, I am still getting a vibration but I haven't got the new tensioner in yet, what is the best way to adjust that? I am not using the cart till that is installed.

I think you run the nut in until it touches the plate. Then just turn it out a pinch. if I recall should only be like a 1/16 - 1/8 inch of play. Tighten the second nut against the first nut to keep it from moving.

These motors wiggle and giggle all over the place!! There probably is nothing wrong, just the nature of the beast!!
