G16 shocks
I have a g16 stock two seater. I want to replace shocks. It's a 1996 cart it had a hard life. Should I go HD on spring or stock I will be towing with it. Do Yamaha make HD springs with shocks. I can get these part # jj3f221000-00.

Re: G16 shocks
JJ3's are to short and very stiff. Mike Mac (a member here) used 1/2 moon collars to stiffen up the old shocks. If your's are leaking oil...just replace them.

Re: G16 shocks
I thought Jakes were the way to go on the rear of a G16!!
I used shaft collers on the front of my G8, they worked perfect after getting a hundred miles on them!! |
