Re: Troubleshooting A Ghost
Test it in place, with plug connected. Black wire is negative, orange wire is 5v, blue wire should read about 0.45v at rest, 4.7v at full throttle. These values are general, and may vary by 0.1v. Another strange thing, why would Fsip spec a controller for Ydre with a ADC motor, when the ADC motor was only used on a short run of G22e?

Re: Troubleshooting A Ghost
Well it seems like a problem with the motor speed sensor maybe. The reason for the tow/run switch is that even with the key off, if the cart is moved manually, the controller is still awake and will still engage the solenoid to try regen braking. This is normal if you move the cart with the key off and the switch in run. If it keeps whining or whines when not moving then that's not normal.

Re: Troubleshooting A Ghost
If I am not asking too much, please walk me through the proper electromechanical operation of this machine.
Turn the key on, put directional switch in forward and depress the pedal. Where in this sequence does/should the solenoid actuate? |

Re: Troubleshooting A Ghost
Solenoid should actuate when you press the pedal and the accelerator stop switch moves. Or if you push the cart, regardless of the key switch or directional switch positions

Re: Troubleshooting A Ghost
Pedal position sensor readings are as follows:
Orange wire: .06 volts at rest. 3.67 volts at full throttle. Now the cart is not moving when the pedal is depressed Blue wire: 4.73 volts regardless of pedal position Key on, directional switch to forward. |

Re: Troubleshooting A Ghost
The pedal position sensor and the pedal switch should be two different items.
Here is a wiring diagram with some testing info from FSIP. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Last edited by trentofdestiny; 11-15-2017 at 04:34 PM.. Reason: Added wiring diagram |

Re: Troubleshooting A Ghost
Right. The pedal switch is the switch that tells the cart that the pedal has moved, and it then powers the solenoid. Correct?
It should be this switch in the picture attached Using an ohmmeter I have ascertained this switch is working correctly. I will try to trace the wiring to see if possibly there is a short. |

Re: Troubleshooting A Ghost
That's correct. You should hear the solenoid click when you press the pedal, regardless of whether you pressed it far enough to actually move the cart or not. If you let go of the pedal then a few seconds later the solenoid should click again meaning it shut off

Re: Troubleshooting A Ghost
Try following the troubleshooting instructions from FSIP that I attached to a prior post.
