Default Fuel gauge installation

My gas EZGO has a warning light fitted, is it possible to use this wiring to change the warning light to a fuel gauge? Any information to fit a fuel gauge will be very welcome anyone there who can help?

What does the warning light warn you of? It would be helpful if I knew the year

You would need to replace the sending unit too. Right now the fuel gets low, the switch makes contact, and the light is turned on. It doesn't send any other information.
Watch this video to see how it's done. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=scaendRh4w4

Ohhhhh, low fuel warning light. Great video CA....

I've also been wanting to put a gauge on mine but I don't have a nice flat factory mounting area like in the video, I do have an area picked out that's big enough for the mount but just not sure it'd be flat enough to seal.

Anyone have any suggestions on what to use as a gasket sealer if it does? Might even need 2 gaskets to build it up?
