Snow Plow

well i have figured out a really easy way to mount a 62" plow to my club car and have already ordered a few parts and it will work well and i will post a pics when im done but before i order the 400$ plow i want you opinion on if it will be able to push it in a few inches of snow with chains lmk ohh and by the way i have a fe290 in it

I would think you might be dissapointed because there is no weight on the cart for traction. Even the electrics have lots of weight in batteries.

i just checked and mules weight about 900 pounds so i dont see being an 800 pound golf cart with chains not being able to push around a few inches

what do you think

I hink the bigest problem you will have is the weight of the plow on the front of the cart in the up position, that might be prevented with a fiberglass plow. Also the wide tire (frog popper) profile of carts will make tires want to build up any kind of wet snow in front of them. It is a interesting idea and one I have had thoughts about. Keep us posted.

well the plow is 62 inches wide about 6 inches wider than the cart on each side so i dont think snow by the wheels is a problem but im not sure i ordered my winch today and ill post some pics when i get it

I had a John Deere 317 with a snow plow,chains on back fluid in tires and 200 lbs in the seat and was only to push a couple of inches of snow on concrete. After a while it wasn't worth the effort to put it together or get it out of the garage

Hey guys,check out plowmanscarts.They sell snowplows & have a video of a cart plowing snow.

The cart is not having a problem pushing the snow.
