Reed Valve 1986 Ezgo 2 stroke gas
Does anyone know where to get a new reed valve for 1986 EZGO 2 stroke. I have been unable to locate one. Thanks John

I tried looking some time ago without any success. As it happened I didn't actually need one so I dodged that bullet. Are you sure that you need one, they are very resilient little devices. If you are sure then you could have a look at the Yamaha reeds and if they look similar perhaps they could be adapted. The Harley Davidson reeds are a different design but if you purchased the plate as well perhaps that could be adapted. Both are available here

Thanks for the help Dave--- my reed valve has 3 tabs on the valve and the center one is broken completely off. I checked with vintage Golf and they said they did not have any reed valves for the EZGO 2PG- 2 Cycle but plan on manufacturing one in the near future? None of the other reed valves look similar so I could not modify? John

I've never looked to see how big the reeds are but have you considered a bike shop?
