Txt reverse beeper
Hello. I'm new here, also fairly new to carts. I've got a 2003 txt PDS. The first thing I did was disconnect the reverse beeper [too annoying]. However upon reading hundreds of old threads, I realize the beeper also is used for diagnostics too.
Has anyone swapped out the beeper for an idiot light to be able to see the codes? It seems easy to do and would be better than hearing the noise in reverse. Thanks |

Sounds like it would work if the voltage for the light was correct. Or you could just hook the buzzer back up if need to run diagnostics.

Re: Txt reverse beeper
Never tried it, sounds like a good idea. Keep in mind that the beeper circuit is fed full pack voltage -> 36v. A led with a resistor or simple voltage divider circuit would work.
