What to do with 550ah 48v lithium pack ?
This battery was ordered about 2 years ago to try in our fleet of forklifts.
At only 550ah, it just isnt enough battery for our 10,000lb capacity forklifts... so it got shelved and replaced with a conventional 1190ah FLA battery at 1/3rd the cost. This lithium battery and charger cost my company just over $32k when new. I hate seeing this thing sit and go to waste. Any suggestions on maybe a different application or where I might list it for sale ? The battery and counterweight box tips the scale at 4400lbs... |

There is a group on facebook, "DIY Battery". You could join that and post about it. There are some other groups, but can't think of them right now. I'm sure someone on there can give ideas, or will want to buy...
There all kinds of people doing powerwalls and converting vehicles to electric that would be interested, I'm sure! |
