'08 Prescedent losing power
I have a 48v cart with 6 month old batteries that test 50 volts across the pack. when I press the go pedal it may move 2" or 2 feet and cuts off. it does it in F and R. I jacked up the cart and have tested the controller and it has 50.6 volts on the B+ and B-. When I press the pedal it gets to 50 volts or so on the two leads going to the motor, but then the voltage starts dropping and the motor shuts off when it gets below a certain point. I can keep it running longer when it is jacked up (no resistance) What is causing the voltage to drop? MCOR, battery or controller?

Re: '08 Prescedent losing power
What do you cables look like? Poor cables, or cables with corrosion will create greater resistance which can cause a failure like you mention.
