To give the front a small lift I used a piece of 1/2 aluminum, you can see in this photo above the spring.Attachment 129898

Does on mine too? Maybe I had the iPad upside down when I took the photo.

Thanks for all the input. I was able to find the shackles you all recommended on ebay. Not cheap at $47 but I have moved and significantly reduced my tool inventory so cutting them is not really an option.

When I used the "block under the front spring" 1 inch lift option, I noticed it did not actually raise the cart but tilted the front wheels away from where they rubbed.

The spacer needs to be above the spring below the frame.

Any metal or welding shop should able to beat that price. I once had to have a hitch receiver repaired on the way to the hunting area at a shop that repaired logging trucks. They wouldn't charge me for the re-weld but we left them 2 cases of beer anyway.

Update: i installed the shackles two days ago. Solved the problem perfectly. I'm sure I overpaid but I had a golf tournament to use the cart for so I was on somewhat of a time crunch. I think the new shackles are about 2.5" longer than stock and it raised the cart an inch. Much stiffer in the back now but I don't mind it.

Since y'all talking about shackles. I installed a 6 in on my ds this weekend blocks in rear with my HD springs so the back in higher now can I shorter my shackles to make my cart level? Or will the rear seat kit and all make it level again.
