Buying a Prececdent- 2010 or 2012 model?
I'm buying my first cart and plan on modifying it for use as a LSV. So, many of the stock parts on the cart will be being replaced/upgraded anyway. Is there any reason to choose a particular year model over another? The 2010 I am looking at will run about $1800, and the 2012 around $2150. both are roughly the same.
One is being sold by OT Truck and Tractor, Oklahoma City, the other by Shoppa's Carts in Ft. Worth. An experience there? Thanks. Blanchard |

Re: Buying a Prececdent- 2010 or 2012 model?
Overall condition of the cart and age of the batteries play a bigger part in my opinion. A 2012 might still have OE batteries that are due for replacement and that can add up to 600 to 800 dollars depending on brand and size...

Both carts are identical. Go,with the one with newer batteries. That is what is important.

After my experience I'd plan on putting batteries in any used cart. I'd buy the cheaper one and plan on starting fresh with a new set of batteries.

I would start by assuming that the batteries in a used cart will need replacing soon if not immediately when you figure what it's worth to you.
