Default 2012 ydre, solenoid clicks but no go?

I am going to work on my first yamaha. It is a 2012 48 volt ydre?

This cart will not run. It was running and just quit.

Batteries are 1 year old trojans, and have 50.1 volts after sitting for a few days.

When you turn the key on , in forward, the step on go pedal, the solenoid will click 1 time, but no cart movement.

I tried jumping the large terminals on the solenoid, while stepping on pedal, but still no go.

I was looking for the 3 amp fuse that is suppose to be there, but i only i see 1 20 amp fuse that goes to a voltage reducer.

I have no experience with yamahas, any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

If solenoid clicks, 3a fuse is good. Reverse buzzer works? Resists pushing & beeps at you?

Sounds like either controller or motor has gone south.

yikes that doesnt sound good. The guy had the reverse buzzer disconnected by someone awhile back, so no the buzzer doesnt work, ever.

Since you guys are saying might be motor or controller, since the buzzer is gone, how do i check the controller?

As far as the motor, if i unhook all 4 wires and do continuity check between terminals and case, and terminals and each other, is that a good enough test to determine if its the motor or not?

This is a picture of the crappy controller. How can i troubleshoot this controller?

You may want to check out the batteries as a first step. I just had a similar problem on my 1998 Cushman Hawk with 8 x 6 volt batteries. It would move about half an inch forward or back before stalling out and it diminished to just clicking when going into forward or reverse. My problem turned out to be one of the batteries had a shorted cell (or something like that) and was only reading 3.2 volts if I recall correctly. That voltage was shown AFTER loading the batteries by going into forward and reverse. I tested the battery voltages again after leaving it overnight and the bad battery that I had identified the day before was back up to about 6.2 volts. I then loaded the batteries again by going into forward and reverse and that battery again showed a fault with a drop to 3.2 volts. I replaced the battery with a rebuilt one and it resolved the problem. This certainly may not be your problem ... but best to do this simple check first. Regards, 3CW

As cgcarts asked does it resist when you push it?

I haven't tried pushing it. I will try that tomorrow. When I push it, should it be in tow? Key in? In forward ?
What am I looking for? What will that tell me?

Key off, in Run. If this test Does provide resistance to pushing, we will know the motor is good, and the controller is good.
