I was wondering. Is it possible that the driven clutch is sticking due to corrosion? Are there any points on the two plates where I should lubricate it with WD 40 or something?

You would use a graphite Based lube on the center shaft area.
What are you calling minimal movement? There should be zero. None at all. Absolutely nothing. You should squeeze it and say oh yeah, that's tight. |

The minimal movement is enough that I can feel it move back and forth when I squeeze them together. If there should be none, then I think it's time for me to get a new driven clutch - I see a pretty good deal on Buggies Unlimited.
