Default speed up 13.5 hp Kawasaki 2020 EZGO L6

I just bought a 2020 Ezgo Express L6 gas with the 13.5 hp Kawasaki engine. It hits top speeds of around 21 or 22 mph. I would like to get it up to 25 to keep up with traffic on main street. Can anyone help with information on how to do this? I know you adjust the governor but not sure which cable it is and which way to adjust.
Pic of the cart is from the CL listing. Spent several hours over the weekend, it looks much nicer now.

Thank you in advance for your help,

Mark

Smaller cable going to the transaxle attached to the governor. Loosen the nut on the rubber boot exposed cable side spin it towards the cable. Slide the cable through the bracket until that nut hits the bracket then spin the nut on the cable side to make up the difference. Don’t get too crazy because those motors don’t like it over 4 k rpm..

Ive adjusted the cable on mine, however now it surges once it gets higher in speed. I had an L4 and an S4 previously with the carb'd Kawasaki motor in it. Now its the 2020 fuel injected one. Anyone know why its surging?

Probably has an rpm limiter that is kicking in.

mwcga, any luck with your speed increase? How is the cart running?

I am trying to figure out what 4+2 cart I am going to invest in for my family, and the EZGO Express L6 certainly would be the easiest path forward...but just like you, I want to make sure it can keep up with traffic to a certain extent. Thanks!
