Lost mixture screw!
I was attempting to adjust the carb on my '89 ezgo 2 stroke but I must have adjusted too far because I lost the mixture screw. Does anyone know where I could get one and what's the general guideline for the carb, all the way in and out 1 1/2?
Thanks! |

Were you able to find an oem replacement or a place that sells various mixture screws and one was a fit or ???

Thanks I posted a Want to buy post to see if someone has a carb they want to sell....maybe that will work, if not I'll buy a new one I guess but that looks like it would be around $100 or so.

I am in the same boat as you right now, I have a good carb just a missing screw and no one makes a rebuild kit. Let me know if you find one please I have been looking high and low.

Re: Lost mixture screw!
is it the screw that has / had a nut on it that adjusts the air mixture , if so I have several of them here . pm me a mailing address . because I think it is the only screw you can adjust on the 89 carb .

Re: Lost mixture screw!
Folks I do not normally say anything about this sort of thing ,,, but it needs saying this time ,,
The man who started this thread was looking for a screw for his carb ,, I sent a screw to who I thought was him because I asked him to pm me an address ,,,SOMEONE HIJACKED HIS THREAD AND GOT THE PART , Damian this is wrong if you needed the part you should have started your own thread .... |

Well lets see if the man is willing to do the right thing and speak up to apologize. I certainly would respect an apology and maybe write it off as a misunderstanding but if he won't then hes a chump!!
