Make 82 gas ezgo faster?
I want to make mine go faster, if it calls for losing some power that is ok, it is just a street and light dirt crusier.. Are their any kits for this year (82 gas ezgo) or any thing anyone has done that I could do? \
Thanks! |

Re: Make 82 gas ezgo faster?
You have a couple of options ..... bigger tires , more voltage, or both
You need to figure out what the actual condition of the battery pack is 1st.... Load test and/or hydrometer test. |

Haha. I think that actually might already be unhooked
Now that you say that, I realize I have been wondering what the cable dragging on the ground is suppose to do. The cable dragging on the ground is goign from some little mechanism attached to the pulley on the left side of the cart.... then the otherside just drags to the ground.. if it was the goveneror wouldn't it go to the engine not the pulley ? |

As far as quieter, good luck. I have been trying the same thing for a few months now. My campground doesn't like my noisy 2 stroke. I have retro fitted a makeshift tailpipe with a lawn mower style muffler at the end of it. It really didn't quiet it so much as change the tone down a bit. This is including the original muffler, so I basically have two mufflers on mine. If you figure out how to make less noise, I'm all ears...so to speak. |

Re: Make 82 gas ezgo faster?
Make sure all joints from the cylinder to the muffler are tight and the gaskets are good still. It is not uncommon to blow a gasket out where it comes out of the cylinder, which will make it very loud, even if it is a small break in the gasket.
