Re: Heavy Duty Rear Leaf Spring Recommendation
Thanks Mike.
Now if the skeptics are right and my version falls apart I will know where to get the official EZ-GO part. |

Re: Heavy Duty Rear Leaf Spring Recommendation
Hi Guys,
I have always purchased both leaf springs and whatever lenght u bolts I needed at my local spring shop. They mostly repair and make springs for tractor trailer rigs but can fab other stuff as well. The last u bolts I purchased were like 5 bucks each for a custom jeep. I have had springs re arched and leafs added, as well as the u bolts and stuff. Check around |

Re: Heavy Duty Rear Leaf Spring Recommendation
Just wanted to jump in here.
I just replaced my rear springs with HD. After adding the rear seat, the front was noticeably higher than the rear. I would still take 4 on the cart, even with some light off road. I changed to the 4 leaf HD leaf and the rear came up 1" and made the cart perfectly level. The downside is the ride is really harsh, even fully loaded with 4 adults and a couple kids. I'd be interested in some middle of the road solution if anyone has one. Would a HD shocks help? |

Re: Heavy Duty Rear Leaf Spring Recommendation

Re: Heavy Duty Rear Leaf Spring Recommendation
My shackles were too tight and binding the spring. Ride is better now, still firm but the little stuff isn't so jarring.
