PDS Motor Horsepower
I am sure this question has been asked many times, but I wasn't able to find an answer in the search. What is the stock motor horsepower for an 04 PDS? I was told it was 3 and I was also told that it was 7. Could someone clarify?
Oh and one more question. What is the stock amperage on that cart's controller? I was told it was 275. Is this correct? |

If it's the stock unit it wont be 7HP for sure. Get the model numbers off the motor and post them. Stock controllers are usually 250-275 amp unless you get a special deal. Again, you can get the numbers to be sure.

PDS carts are special, the stock controller has always been a 300 AMP unit. As for the motor, It is made by advanced and should be a 4 HP.

I just replaced a 05 pds controller since it was bad and it was 275a. Replaced it with a reman 275a.

Sorry for the delayed response. It is hard to reply and make sure my teacher isn't watching me at the same time.
 I am gonna have to look at the controller. I was so busy cleaning up my batteries that pulling the access panel off to look at the motor didn't even phase me. I will check Wednesday or tomorrow and report back.G'Night all and thanks for your help! |
