Limited slip or positraction help?
Has anyone purchased any of the limited slip kits for a G-9? Any good? other options? Can I do some welding in the differential and make a live axle? Any info from you experianced guys would be appreciated! My vertical shaft project is coming around slowly. I am going to have a lot more horsepower and would like positraction for it. I will put some pics up!

Re: Limited slip or positraction help?
you can weld up the rear end for a live axle like set up. Its good in the dirt, sand and loose gravel but on pavement its not so hot and kind of crawls against its self. it all depends what you want/need

Plowmans sells a posi kit, but I don't think it will work on the G9

Other than hard surfaces what about breaking items such as your axel. I have been thinking about this just makes me real nervous.70 percent of carting is on dirt or grass. What do yall think

Re: Limited slip or positraction help?
you would have to have to have some SERIOUSLY sticky tires to break that axle...generaly the tires just "hop" like a 4x4 turning tight and the tires just crawl a little
