Default 97 ezgo

My brother has a 97 EZGO and it tops out at 12 mph. Is there an adjustment that can be made to raise its max speed? Thanks, Frank

Yes, add about 10 pounds of cash to the cart

Seriously, there is no simple adjuster for more speed on a 97 electric.
Does it have a toggle switch on the black controller cover (under the passenger seat)?

Series carts are notably slow and steady. You can increase the voltage for 30% more speed & torque but, nothing cheap and easy. Sorry
