Towing a ezgo?
Hi
Possibly a stupid question but can a cart be damaged by towing it? I have a 2004 ezgo and stay about 3km from the golf course. I dont have a trailor so I was thinking of making a A-Frame and towing it there. I would have to put it in tow mode but could it possibly cause any damage to the carts motor? Thanks |

Welcome to BGW and there are no stupid questions!! I'm no expert here but I have read in a few places that the motor can be damaged if spun at too high an RPM. The innards of the motor, due to centrifical forces, fly apart.... At what speeds this occurs I don't know but it's safe to say that speeds below 25 mph (40 kph) are probably okay with a stock motor given many users drive them at those speeds now. |
