2006 electric ezgo stopping with passengers

I have a 06, 36v, all new interstate batteries. It works fine with 2 front passengers and children . If I put 2 normal size adults on the back sometimes it will just cut off. If I turn the key off and wait a couple of minutes, turn the key back on then it will run fine with no passengers on the back.

Any ideas would be very helpful .

Is your Directional selector a lever by your knee or a toggle on the dash?

Your controller is going into thermal overload. It cools off and you can go again until the added weight heats it up again.

You need an upgraded controller pkg.

It is a toggle on the dash....Do you know where I can get one of these controlers? Also price please ?
