cart stop moving but i found out why.
1995 ezgo the cart last night. i put power on the red wire coming out of the charging port everything works. i took the 3 screws out of the housing the red wire changed to white with a small piece of ???? then goes to the postive on the charge port. what is the small piece ??????

It is called a reed switch actually a kind of fuse. Connect the red wire directly to the battery pack main. you will be okay, Ezgo did away with the reed switch later on.
