Yeah the bezel was cracked up real bad. I dismantled all of that crap and was able to get everything to connect! Yay!

I then checked the battery water level......well, let's just say for 6 batteries, I used 4 gallons of distilled water.....

So am I right? Six batteries is a 36v system? Just trying to wrap my head around all of this. The more I read this forum, the better it is getting....

six 6volt batteries is a 36volt system (wired in series in golf carts)
six 8volt batteries is a 48volt system

6volt batteries have 3 water holes
8volt batteries have 4 water holes

A fully charged 6volt battery will read 6.36V on a digital volt meter. (38.2 for a pack of six)
A 6volt battery that reads 6.0 volts or less is considered dead (discharged)
