04 txt Series extra cable on solenoid help
I have been slowly rebuilding this cart for a couple months, I finally got it to the point of connecting all the wires last night and everything is running now except the extra black cable on the inside post of my solenoid. Near as I can tell from wiring diagrams it is the WHT to Power Harness, that just does not tell me where it goes. Could use use some help.

Re: 04 txt Series extra cable on solenoid help
I think we can get a mod to move it to the Ezgo section
That might be the least of our problems.... what the heck do you have going here? The battery main is bypassing the solenoid connected straight to the controller!? |

Re: 04 txt Series extra cable on solenoid help
I have modified this diagram for clarity in the solenoid area...
Notice there are 2 cables connected at B+ on the controller. this is often accomplished by connecting 2 cables at the controller side of the solenoid and thus having only one cable at the controller B+ hope this makes sense! |

Re: 04 txt Series extra cable on solenoid help
ok so I should have the inside terminal of the solenoid wired directly to the positive terminal of the batter and then the outside terminal is wired to b+ on the controller.

Re: 04 txt Series extra cable on solenoid help
I don't want to download all those PDFs to look at them ... the diagram I posted is from the Ezgo manual...... wire it like that let me know if that works.
