Club Car mid to late 70s electric ? on steering
Been a while since I was here. I need some information on the aforementioned Club Car.
More specifically, the steering apparatus. Let me decribe the structure. Standing in front of the cart, the steering "knuckle" goes into the top of the steering "box". Extending to my right is a rubber accordion cover and there is 3/4" bolt head just outside the cover.. On the underside of the box is another blot head about flush with the steering box. I hope I have described it well enough so you can recognize the style. I want to take the play out of the steering. I have had the cart for 6-7 years and it has been a workhorse in my hobby. I installed a lift kit on it a few years back. Cannot remember the name but had some trouble. I believe Jake's bought them out and we made a compromise deal. Worked very well. 1. What does the bolt on the bottom do? 2. What does the bolt on the rubber covered extension do? Hope you can help. |
