EZGO Series Upgrades
Can someone tell me what are some upgrades that I can do on an 06 PDS Series cart? I have a lift kit, lights coming in the mail and would like to know what I can do to make it better for the soon to be coming bigger tires.

Re: EZGO Series Upgrades
There is no such thing as a PDS series cart. It's either a PDS or a series cart. Where I'd your forward and reverse switch? On te dash or by your knee?

Re: EZGO Series Upgrades
You can get a bigger controller and solenoid and cables and F&R to deliver more amperage to your motor to help it deal with the increased work load.

Re: EZGO Series Upgrades
If someone were to upgrade their cables, solenoid and f/r switch, would a higher amperage contolle, upgraded motor kill the life span of batteries?

Re: EZGO Series Upgrades
It will strain your batteries more, yes. But I wouldnt say a whole lot. Are you wanting speed or just torque for your lift?

Re: EZGO Series Upgrades
I loose a considerable amount of speed going up a 15-20 degree hill. My cart does however make it up the hill with me and two other men in the cart. It does this with a stock cart that has been lifted 6 inches and has 23" mudlite tires on 10" rims. So to answer your question, I would want to gain both more torque as well as more speed. even before the lift and tires the cart would slow down going up hills with just me in it.
