Wiring up a Delta Volt meter
Need a little help wiring up a Delta volt meter to a 2007 President Club Car, and i would like to wire it up to the key switch. It only has 2 wires, so can i wire it up behind the dash or do i still have to run a wire to the battery.
Thanks Maddog24 |

Re: Wiring up a Delta Volt meter
The red (+) goes to the terminal as shown in the pict. The black (-) goes to the main - on the battery pack.

Re: Wiring up a Delta Volt meter
Your meter should have only 2 leads. One to the always positive, (HOT,) side of your key switch and the other to a ground lead. You have ground leads inside your dash panel that you can use for ground. You do not have to run it all the way back to your battery pack.

Hey behind my dash the key switch has a Blue and Green wire go to it, not sure which on is + or -. And there are two more wires back there next to the key switch that are just loose not hooked up to nay thing, could they be the two wires i could hook up to with out running a wire back to the battery pack??

There are two wires not being used in a Precedent, which normally are used for the Analog battery display option. I'm not sure of the colors but I believe they were orange and brown? Anyway you must use a meter to be sure of whatever you do and finding a solid ground or the hot side of your key switch once turned on. I do believe that the Blue is Hot AFTER the key is turned on, but not 100% positive. |
