No. There are no special tools required. If I remember correctly, it's a metric wrench or socket required

Update on the Monsoon canopy repair Kit103258901= I just picked up a PQ 2006 CC . The first trip across the field the canopy was rattling bad . The original design the bolt went through the canopy to anchor and the drain cover just snapped in and covered the hole . Looks like it was a bad design because canopy anchor brakes just above the bolt . So the repair kit is now the canopy anchor and the drain cover all in one . Good news the kit is under $15 bucks for 2 and no more rattles ! Tip = If the cover is flush on top it's original . Sunk down in 1/2" been replaced . You do need a T-40 Torx-head driver and remember to remove the broken tabs !
