I went with the HD 3 leaf on mine and I'm glad I did. It is plenty heavy duty for whatever load I need and when it's empty it still gives it a pretty rough ride. I can't imagine how rough the ride would be with 4 leafs. I hauled 12 bags of corn (600 pounds) on my 3 leafs with no problem at all so I don't see why you would ever need more. Mine is a 1998 TXT.
