Battery Hold Down Question
Following the advice from another thread of mine, I purchased a battery hold down from ebay to secure my batteries in my 1997 EZGO TXT. Yesterday, I went to install them and found there wasn't anything to attach the rods to.
Looking at the bottom of the battery compartment, it looks like the metal underneath the battery may have been swapped out and replaced with some thick metal. Does anyone have a picture of what the underside of the batteries is supposed to look like? I bought the cart used from a guy who works in a metal shop, so I wouldn't be shocked to learn it was replaced. I just want to know what I can do to utilize this handy little battery gadget. Thanks. |

Re: Battery Hold Down Question
Here is a picture of what the battery rack should look like. I converted mine to aluminum but the stock steel ones are the same... Hope this helps...

Re: Battery Hold Down Question
Yeah, I have a solid piece of steel. Must have been replaced at some point.
Thanks for the help. |
