Re: Hot electric motor
I put all new heavy guage battery cables on along with heavy guage cables that go to the motor. After five minutes the motor still gets very hot. Should i keep replacing cables? Could it be brushes or controller? If so how can I test them?

Re: Hot electric motor
How do you know it's too hot? What is the temp?
And what do you mean by "heavy gauge cable"? What type and size cables? |

Re: Hot electric motor
After five minutes of run time you would burn your hand on the motor. The guage is 4. Ill replace all the wiring this week plus the forward reverse switch
