You will find aluminium body panels on many high dollar European cars, but not too many domestic units. Maybe a hood or trunk lid once in a while.

I only deal with high dollar European cars. Yes I said this while I drink my tea with my pinky in the air and as I stroked my ascot...

I know MOST cars don't have al body panels I was just using that as an example so he would be comfortable with working with aluminum. Ford rangers have aluminum hoods. In collage I had a Chevy s10 who's bed was mostly aluminum.... Well it was mostly full of aluminum... Beer cans.

All of my S-10s had steel beds. What years had aluminum?

Maybe I should have put more of these.
It was just a joke about the quantity of beer cans that always ended up in it.

I actually have a TXT roof on my Marathon and it fit with very minor modification. If you do not care about the basket the only thing that would matter is how far apart the front and rear roof supports are. If they are close to the same you could always drill new holes in the roof support that match the holes in the TXT roof.
Holes through roof are:

29.5" side to side.

47.5" front to back.

What will fit that?

My roof hole measurements are 50" font to back and 26.5" wide front and 24.5" wide rear.

The original Marathon roof that came on my cart did not bolt through the top it bolted on the lip of the edge. If you can find one of those you could put your own holes through the top as needed. I actually have one I would sell you if you are near the Memphis, TN area. It is probably too big to ship so maybe you can find one local.

White but I had painted it black. Paint started flaking so I had my current roof covered in Line-X. Roof is in good condition but would either need repainting or cleaned.

Airplanes are aluminum. They are also painted. Primed with zinc chromate then paint. Planes are also acid etched first but not necessary for a golf cart roof.
