uncertain
Title should have been uncertain electrical problem
Guys, have new as of last season interstate battery and voltage regulator in 96 ezgo. Cart has been running fine but last 2 rounds it seems to loose charge. I say seems since I pull the battery and she is fully charged. I put back and she will run. Almost seems like a short. Any ideas/guidance on trouble shooting this one....... Ezrider |

Re: uncertain
using a volt meter, check batt voltage (should be 12-12.5V) , put cart in neutral (or jack up rear end) and run eng, you should see a voltage increase up to 14-14.5v if so than your charging system is working.
I have actualty seen regulators quit working when they get hot. check and clean all connection at battery and regulator as well as starter/generator. |
