Re: 1998 EZ Go TXT
Got a new question. How do you know which cable is Pos and which is neg comming out of the control box? Both cables are black. One is longer than the other. Just got six new batterys and i know how to connect them to each other in a series. Just not sure about the wires from the control box to the batterys.

Re: 1998 EZ Go TXT
Got the batterys figured out, (thanks for the advise). Had to put in a new controller also. The cart is running great. Man, I got some looks from people. They act like they have never seen someone drive around on a bare frame cart before!! Got the cart painted. Took a few tries, but I got it looking pretty good for an amature. I used Acrlic Enamale paint. My new question is, Should I put some type of clear coat on it? If so, is there a certin name brand or type to use?

Re: 1998 EZ Go TXT
You shouldn't need any clear coat on an enamel. It should have it's own gloss. Generally, acrylics are called, "single step" paints. Meaning color and gloss are both in the one step.
