This hardest part was the brake cable extensions. There are different part numbers for stock and lifted carts. The lifted carts have an extension that gets installed to "lengthen" the cables. It's a piece of aluminum that moves the attachment point closer to the rear wheels, which effectively makes the cables longer. I am glad it went with the "lifted" part number, since I have a 6" lift and it helps with the cable clearance.

AS, that is interesting, because the shopezgo website does not say anything about the lift kits or not. Or about brake cables.

I have put I think 4 of these sets on and have not needed the extensions yet.. Your results may vary..

Just to qualify that, if you have larger than stock tires, or more aggressive treads you're probably right. However, my well tuned drum brakes will lock up the tires at over 35 mph, with passengers, a rear seat, and the weight of two extra batteries.

Yep, mine are 22s and 23s and the drums don't do the job the discs will. Mine will pretty much lock up the 23s and everything in the cart shifts forward. Have to be careful with the cooler in the back because of the cold water...

You said previously you did not like how low they hang. Is it low enough to get in the way or more of the way it looks?
